  2.   README.TEXT - IE/DOpus5 Support Documentation

  5.   The scripts in this directory are written for users of the disk util
  6. Directory Opus 5.x. They perform various tasks in IE but with main control
  7. from DOpus. DOpus is ideal for batch processing of images and easy handling
  8. of file information.
  9.  
  10.   The scripts require DOpus 5.0 or higher and ImageEngineer 3.0 or higher.
  11. They do not support DOpus 4.x or lower since those versions use a completely
  12. different set of arexx commands. Both DOpus and IE must be running when the
  13. scripts are executed.

  16.   Included support files
  17.  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  18. "buttons/IE_Functions" - a ready-to-use button bank for DOpus with all
  19. currently available DOpus support functions.
  20.  
  21. "arexx/IE_Import.dopus5" - imports all selected files in the source dir into
  22. Image Engineer. Only one (1) source lister may be selected.
  23.  
  24. "arexx/IE_Convert.dopus5" - converts all selected files in the source dir
  25. to a user-specified output format. Output can be either in raw or rendered
  26. format. Rendering of output supports locking of a single user-selected
  27. palette for all converted images. Output files will be saved to destination
  28. dir. One (1) source and one (1) destination lister may be selected.

  38.   Very simple. Copy all files to their corresponding directory in the
  39. "DOpus5:" directory. (where DOpus is installed)
  40.   To use, just load the button bank, select your images and press a button!
